We worship with our voices, our instruments and our hearts, singing praises to the Lord for His unfailing love and grace. From the single pew, the voices and instruments of Harmony fill the sanctuary, honoring Him with every note and flourish
Harmony's Worship & Arts ministry seeks to be a vital influence on its members and the congregation. We desire to create a community here where artists can be pushed to develop their craft alongside one another. As artists, we believe our gifts, and what we do with them, directly impact our walk with Christ. Through various artistic expressions, we desire to attract individuals to know Jesus Christ and lead them to a more devoted, Spirit-filled Christian life.
What We Believe
Here are some of our
basic, essential beliefs at Harmony:
What We Offer
Our music is similar to what you might hear on the radio today. We use songs that churches all over the world are singing.
We believe that the Bible is fully applicable to our lives today so our goal is to bring the Scriptures to life in a clear, understandable way.
KIDZ is fun Christian education for newborns through 6th-graders during the adult worship hours and is a creative way to teach your children about God, Jesus, and the Bible. Of course, you are welcome to bring your children to the worship service, but we believe we've prepared a developmentally "on-target" program for your children's spiritual growth and enjoyment.
We offer both Junior and Senior High ministries where we value teaching the scripture, genuine worship, service and fellowship. Sunday mornings, Junior High and Senior High students are encouraged to become servant leaders and participate in the adult worship service with their families on Sunday mornings.
At Harmony, Small Groups fulfill the role of a traditional adult Sunday School and much more. Small Groups are a gathering of 12-16 adults to help you grow relationally and spiritually through sharing, relevant Bible study, and prayer. If you want more information on how to find a small group, click here.
At Harmony we value local and international missions. There are multiple opportunities for you to give and service in our community, in our state and across the world.
Becoming a Christian
1. Acknowledge my dissatisfaction with the present situation.
Jesus said, "For people can't come to me unless the Father who
sent me draws them to me, . . ." John 6:44 (NLB)
"For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard."
Romans 3:23 (NLB)
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23 (NLB)
2. Realize that God wants to offer me help and hope.
"When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right
time and died for us sinners. . . . God showed his great love
for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still
sinners. And since we have been made right in God's sight by the
blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment."
Romans 5:6-10 (NLB)
Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they
might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 (KJV)
3. Repent of my sins."Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins." Acts 3:19 (NLB)
"metanoia" - to reverse one's course. To turn in a new direction with the whole heart.
"The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent." 2 Peter 3:9 (NLB)
4. Receive Jesus Christ as my Savior by faith.
"Have faith in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved! . . ."
Acts 16:31 (CEV)
"But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12 (NLB)
"God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift of God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it."
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLB)
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16 (NLB)
If you would like to become a Christ-follower, we at Harmony want to encourage you! Make this prayer your prayer:
"Dear Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Leader. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. Please turn me in the right direction and help me to live the rest of my life as you would have me to. Amen.
